We took to the polls today to elect the new school council for 2017/18. Last week in assembly Mrs Eason reminded the children what it means to be a school councillor and gave examples of the outgoing council’s achievements. Children then went back to class and those who wanted to put themselves forward as candidates. Today the ballot papers were issued.

Each class (teachers included!) has voted, it was all very official, just like the real thing! Big thanks to Derbyshire Dales District Council for kindly lending us the polling booths again.

The votes are being carefully counted and verified check back soon for the official results!
