Little Explorers visited Matlock Fire Station as part of their topic ‘People who help us’.

They were shown round by by Greg one of the Firefighters from the station who talked to the children about all the different things that firefighters do and showed them the variety of equipment that’s carried on a fire engine.

The children had a fabulous time, they met Wellyphant, went inside the fire engine, tried on helmets and gloves and even got have a go at squirting water out of the hose.
