Y3 visited Cromford Mill this week as part of their topic ‘Marvellous Matlock’ They stepped back in time and dressed in costumes from the era, tried their hands at carding, spinning and weaving cotton just like mill workers from the time would have done! They learnt all about Richard Arkwight ready to write a biography of him.
